With over 20,000 vineyard acres under our care, we work closely with our viticulture team to match customers with the ideal vineyard blocks for their needs. This vineyard to bottle relationship has been nurtured since Plata’s founding in 2005, growing more efficient each year. With the majority of our vineyard’s pre-contracted to winery customers, Plata uses only a small portion for our own operations. This approach gives us the flexibility to grow and the agility to stay consistent in an industry that’s often at the mercy of nature’s unpredictable whims.
