Berrycream Rosé displays balanced acidity with flavors of succulent strawberry, lime zest, and dark cherry finishing smooth and crisp. It goes great with a wide variety of foods from sushi to pulled pork sandwiches to BLTA’s….but we won’t tell if you just like to sip it on the front porch!
We picked individual vineyard blocks with the perfect balance between ripeness, sweetness, acidity and flavor. The grapes went directly to the press in order to separate the skins from the juice and to only impart a little hint of berry-pink color. Fermented separately in stainless steel tanks, each lot was fermented to dryness under cool conditions to maintain all those fruity flavors and aromas. After fermentation, we did a little bit of lees stirring in stainless steel to bring out richness and mouthfeel, while still retaining the amazing zingy freshness and berry brightness.
Red grapes for rosé are picked earlier than grapes for red wine because it’s grown and treated more like a white- we want to maintain the freshness and acidity. We control the entire process from vineyard to bottle and so can offer a pure expression of coastal wine quality. The combination of warm sunny days and cool coastal nights allows the fruit to develop deep and complex flavors, while maintaining refined and elegant characteristics.
California Pinot Noir
Cherrycream California Pinot Noir is ruby in color and has ripe berry and vanilla aromas followed by flavors of creamy cherry, strawberry, cocoa, and a hint of spice. The smooth mouthfeel, velvety tannins and super-long finish add up to a spectacularly balanced and creamy Pinot Noir.”
We carefully harvest at night and picked individual vineyard blocks with the perfect balance between ripeness, sweetness, acidity, and flavor. Then, the grapes were fermented separately in stainless steel tanks. The lots were then oak-aged with a mix of French, American, and medium/medium+ toast levels to integrate the cask-aged characters with the ripe berry aromas and flavors. Patient months of aging yielded “elevated” characters of creamy cherry, strawberry, toast and a little hint of spice.
This Pinot Noir largely from our vineyards in Monterey County and Santa Barbara County. The range of vineyards and growing areas creates a Pinot Noir that is complex yet approachable and luscious on the palate.
This Chardonnay is balanced and true in varietal character. Delicious aromas of dulce de leche, butterscotch, honeysuckle, and ripe apple paired with a subtle vanilla show the oak nuances of this wine. There is freshness yet balance in the flavors of ripe peach, bosc pear and Gravenstein apple which give way to an incredibly long and creamy finish.
We picked individual Chardonnay vineyard blocks with the perfect balance between ripeness, sweetness, acidity and flavor. Fermented and aged separately, each lot went through a complete malo-lactic fermentation to impart richness and unctuous mouthfeel. The lots were then oak-aged in a combination of medium and medium-plus French oak.
This Chardonnay was sourced from our legendary vineyards along the Coast of California. We control the entire process from vineyard to bottle and are able to offer a pure expression of coastal wine quality. The combination of warm sunny days and cool coastal nights allows the fruit to develop deep and complex flavors while maintaining refined and elegant characteristics.
